Project Panic

Project Panic is an awareness campaign to educate young professionals about stress related disorders that can come from working in high pressure, continuous creative professions.Symptoms of Anxiety include dizziness, irritability, constant worry and feelings of being on edge.

The focus is on predominantly Anxiety (generalized and panic disorders) and aims to educate the public on signs and symptoms relating to these disorders; how it feels to live with these symptoms, what can you do to help others and tips for people to help themselves.

The intention is to create an immersive experience that gives the viewer an insight into what it feels like to experience panic disorders. This will open up lines of communication on the topic of stress relating to the creative profession, through the use of design.

The installation uses the senses (see, hear, touch, etc) to help others understand what it can be like to experience the side effects of these disorders. This project is not to ostracize people but to educate society and to show that these disorders are not signs of weakness, laziness or attention seeking, but shows signs of strength and survival.
