  • Rainy Du
I am Rainy Du. I’ve been trained how to draw strictly since I was 9 years old.

Now, I am doing honours of graphic design at the University of Waikato.
When I create work, I think in two ways, a graphic design way and a fine art way. In this year, my topic is to design orientation cues in books.
  • Jaimie Hutton
Yowza, Jaimie here. I'm a graphic designer based in Hamilton, New Zealand. I have just completed my bachelor in Computer Graphic Design at the University of Waikato. My main skillsets are in illustration, web design and typography. In my spare time I practice painting portraits of those that inspire me. I love music, the 80s and have a fancy for suave winklepickers.
I have been studying Graphic Design for over eight years, starting in high school, and completing my degree in 2012. This degree taught me the industry expectations and standards, as well as how to efficiently and productively utilise my time and ideas into refined and creative solution.
My personal style in graphic design became diverse and adaptable to a wide range of specifications under this degree.
  • Shaun Jay
Shaun's expertise and passion lies within Branding, Print, and Mixed media.

For his honours project, Shaun has researched “2D to 3D player interaction within the extra dimension”. This looked into the transition of interaction within the transition of video games.

For his realization, Shaun has teamed up with fellow BCGD honours student Hayden McMillan to create the adventure game, "Stones of Helios", which combines colourful, lighthearted game play with aspects of Greek myths.
