Heya! I’m Kayla, born and raised in the beautiful town of Kerikeri. While I’m currently a full-time university student pursuing a degree in design, my life is also deeply intertwined with the sport of Polocrosse. As a competitive horse rider, I’ve had the incredible privilege of competing all over the world, gaining experiences that have fueled my drive both on and off the field.
My passion for graphic design has always been a constant. I find so much joy in exploring the intersection of creativity and practicality, and this degree has opened my eyes to new ways of expressing ideas visually. Whether it’s experimenting with sleek minimalistic designs or adding a quirky flair that speaks to my personality, design for me is not just an academic pursuit but a lifelong journey.
This 5-week course is designed to help women uncover what might be missing in their lives by exploring new hobbies and passions. Each week introduces a different activity, carefully curated to provide a wide range of experiences. Participants will receive a beautifully crafted zine three weeks before the course begins. This zine will serve as a guide, offering a detailed program of events, including information about each week’s activity, location, time, dress code and a list of benefits. The course aims to create a supportive environment for women aged 20-30 where they can explore various activities and find their new passion, while also creating lifelong friendships along the way.
