Hello! My name is Kaleah, and I’m from Hamilton. I’m always seeking creative inspiration in music, films, fashion, and photography. These diverse influences fuel my passion for design and shape my unique perspective. Through my studies, I’ve come to see design as a discipline rich with purpose and intention. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about thoughtfully constructing and arranging different elements to create something meaningful.
This journey has taught me that design can evoke emotions and spark conversations, transforming everyday experiences into something extraordinary. I believe that every project offers an opportunity to explore new ideas and challenge existing norms, pushing boundaries and reimagining possibilities. As I continue to grow in my craft, I’m excited to discover how design can not only beautify our surroundings but also connect people and inspire positive change in our communities.
I’m excited to introduce Thrive Street, an initiative aimed at individuals aged 18-28 who want to engage with local events and discover new experiences. This project is focused on creating a community that values growth and innovation.
At the heart of Thrive Street is the Thrive Street Striders, a running club that makes exercise accessible and free for everyone. We also host Thrive Markets, which highlight local businesses and emphasise sustainable practices, encouraging our community to support organic produce and eco-friendly brands.
To strengthen our community identity, I’ve developed merchandise that serves as a branding tool for Thrive Street. Ultimately, Thrive Street is a space where like-minded individuals come together to build meaningful connections, encourage healthy living, and support sustainability—all while enjoying the creative journey together.
