Hi I'm Charlie. I'm from Tauranga, I am a music fan, petrol head and somewhat of a beer enthusiast. I have enjoyed my experience here at the University of Waikato and after more than a few late nights, I have learnt valuable skills that I will take with me into my future career as a designer. 8/10. Project Description
My project is an infographic exhibition of Lake Karapiro. The exhibition has been designed as a visitors center exhibition, on site at the lake for anyone who may visit. The exhibition covers a brief history, current uses and general information about the lake, with the aim of sharing the interesting history and activities that happen in, and around, Lake Karapiro. I have spent the better part of the last 10 years rowing, and working, on the lake and during this time realized I knew very little about it's history and current recreation uses. As a result, I have put together an exhibition to bring the public up to speed with Lake Karapiro and how it came to be. So please enjoy a brief history of Lake Karapiro, or Lake "putrid rock".
