Biography

I am Zhe Li and I came from China. I graduated from the Academy of Art University (USA) with a Masters of Fine Art in 2015. I ‘ve always loved art and design. I am taking Graduate Diploma in Communication Design at The University of Waikato in this year. I enjoy studying here because I gained experience with different media and techniques. Design gives me more opportunities to explore and express myself. My design shows a world of imagination and passion. I am interested in UI and UX design, but I enjoy practical art and character design the most.

Project Description

My degree project is Tui Calls, a website and mobile web prototype that teaches kids how to identify common New Zealand birds. The target audience is high school students, so it will also support school projects. New Zealand has the highest risk of bird extinctions in the world. My website Tui Calls helps young people in New Zealand become aware of the birds around them so that children learn to protect them.
