Biography

I always knew I’d end up in the creative field growing up; whether that was music, performing arts, painting or architecture I’ve always been a creative person. However, design is my true passion because I love the broadness of fields and working with clients. Doing an internship at Gallagher as a graphic designer, gave me a true taste of what it means to be a designer and to create for clients in the real world. Mobile App Design/UX is my niche, while still having a strong skill set for print design.

Project Description

Milestone is a brand that emphasises in the corporate responsibility of ethical sourcing of gemstones for jewellery. The context of this brand will address: ethics for exporting, fair labor practices and transparent supply chains to ensure traceability for consumers. This brand ensures beyond conflict free gemstones and certifies the origins from mine to the market. The mining of gemstones is a multibillion-dollar industry, which spans upon approximately 47 countries on six continents.


Milestone alleviates the issues of forced and child labor, other criminal activity, environmental damage, health and safety concerns. This is done through a hybrid app that will function as an informational and utility tool for consumers. Consumers will be able to use the app to scan a gemstone and Milestone will provide information about the possible stones, ethical sourcing, and certification/quality. As well as the full corporate responsibility of the brand. In conjunction, a brochure will provide more information about the brand and the app for consumers.
