“Bracket.today” aims to achieve a new visual approach in common tournament brackets within the contents of mobile devices. This responsive design necessity has been heavily neglected, almost ignored with regards to tournament brackets. Resulting in the finger breaking UI that is currently common practice.

However. The Bracket.today web application endeavors to bridge this long overdue gap. This web application will allow tournament administration staff of any scale to create, manage and update their tournament brackets.

Tournament participants will be able to easily locate information with only a few painless swipes. This is especially important as games ‘away from home’ often only cater for a phone, not a laptop or desktop.

An intensive “re-design” with a comprehensive focus on responsive design will make these ambitions, reality. A potential side-effect from this project will be to generate enthusiasm amongst web developers to think “responsively”.
